In the end, Henri is far more consistent whereas Minotaur really depends on the reds giving you chances for good damage. She used to be the best T10 cruiser in her role, which is that of a ranged DPS cruiser, and was nerfed, most likely, because Zao and Henri, the only other DPS cruisers at the time, couldnt really compete. Its just that other cruisers are either more powerful or more specialised. Henri, OTOH, can chip away since her gun caliber is enough to penetrate thick deck armor and has enough speed to ensure constant spotting. Hindenburg is still perfectly fine and easy to play. Consumables Enhancements (for speed boost duration), 21. ![]() Saint Louis is a completely different build and ship. At this speed, I only fear Moskva/Stalingrad most players cannot hit a Henri going this speed 15km+ away.ģ) When it comes to punching carriers, Minotaur has 0 chance if flat top is already running. So Henri IV is a funny one, you either stack concealment and get to 14-ish km or you go full lighthouse. It's also difficult to land consistent torp hits.Ģ) W/ engine boost flag and EB module, you get 5min of ~49 knots. I lost credits easily on Mino unless stars aligned and got some easy damage. In contrast, Minotaur needs nearby broadside targets and smoke/island cover to get damage. Plus, when you get decent volleys, Henri's AP shines at penning deck armor of anything broadside for whatever reason, her AP easily pens even GK's deck armor easy. Heck, in my Moskva, the only cruisers I really hated fighting are Zao and Henri because their HE hits so hard. ![]() Having played both without premium camo, Henri is the winner.ġ) Her base MB range and velocity make her ideal for harassing BBs and spotted cruisers. ![]() ![]() Any opinions on which would be the better long range choice? Thanks. I like playing both ships, but don't like 'spending' cash on it. I have enough doubloons to purchase the perma camo for one of them, but can't decide which to choose. I only have two Tier X ships, and this is probably all I'll get.
